Choosing a bathtub supplier is not simply a matter of comparing shapes, prices, and catalog photographs. For international brand owners, wholesalers, and manufacturers, the more important question is whether a factory can reproduce an approved design consistently, document its materials, satisfy destination-market requirements, and deliver commercially workable orders.

China offers several established sourcing locations for this task. The Foshan area in Guangdong contains integrated bathroom manufacturers and specialist bathtub producers, while Zhejiang offers manufacturers in Jiaxing, Pinghu, Hangzhou, and Ningbo. The companies reviewed below illustrate the breadth of these two manufacturing regions, from large bathroom groups to more customization-focused suppliers.

This guide examines ten manufacturers and manufacturing-oriented suppliers worth evaluating for freestanding acrylic soaking tubs. It also explains how to compare production capability, verify certificates, manage sampling, and avoid specification changes that can undermine an otherwise promising partnership.

China Acrylic Bathtub Manufacturing Facility

What "Top 10" Means in This Guide

This is a commercially focused shortlist, not an independently audited ranking by sales, output, or product quality. The order does not indicate that one manufacturer is universally superior to another.

The profiles draw on public company information, product pages, and supplier disclosures available for this review. Supplier-published figures and certification claims should be treated as preliminary evidence, not substitutes for factory verification.

For buyers, the central selection principle is traceability: the ability to connect the quoted product, approved sample, material specification, production site, test report, and shipped batch.

China's Manufacturing Position and the 2026 Buying Context

Official trade data helps establish China's international supply role, but buyers must interpret the product category correctly.

World Bank WITS data, drawing on international trade statistics, shows that China exported approximately $196.44 million of products under HS 392210 to the United States in 2024. Exports under the same category to Australia were approximately $55.13 million.

These figures cover plastic baths, shower-baths, and washbasins. They do not isolate freestanding acrylic soaking tubs. Consequently, they support China's importance in plastic sanitary products, but should not be presented as the market size of this specific bathtub category.

For a more recent demand-side perspective, the National Kitchen & Bath Association released its 2026 Bath Trends Report on November 11, 2025. It draws on responses from nearly 700 North American industry professionals and examines the styles, materials, finishes, and technologies expected to influence residential bathrooms.

The distinction matters: customs statistics describe trade flows, while a design-industry survey describes buyer and professional preferences. Neither establishes a manufacturer's quality or available production capacity.

Selection Criteria: How to Evaluate a Reliable Bathtub Supplier

A useful supplier assessment should examine six areas.

1. Product Relevance

Confirm that the supplier produces freestanding acrylic soaking tubs—not only outdoor spas, whirlpool baths, solid-surface tubs, or bathroom furniture.

A plain soaking tub and an electrically equipped massage bathtub are different purchasing projects. They involve different component lists, service requirements, and potentially different compliance obligations.

2. Material and Manufacturing Transparency

Ask the factory to identify the acrylic construction, sheet supplier, reinforcement system, support structure, and approved bill of materials.

"Acrylic bathtub" is not a sufficiently detailed purchasing specification. Buyers should know what material is being supplied and how finished-product performance will be verified.

3. Quality-Control Evidence

Request actual inspection records rather than a general statement that every product undergoes strict inspection.

Useful evidence includes dimensional checks, drainage and leakage tests, surface inspections, load testing, and batch identification. EN 14516 addresses domestic-bath characteristics such as cleanability and durability, including bottom stability, chemical resistance, and resistance to temperature changes.

4. Development and Customization Capability

Separate minor customization from genuine product development.

Logo placement and carton printing are not equivalent to a new bathtub mold, altered internal geometry, a different drain position, or an exclusive surface design.

5. Delivery Reliability

Evaluate the factory's current workload, material procurement plan, subcontracting arrangements, and production schedule.

A large advertised annual output does not establish how many units of your selected model can be delivered during your requested shipping window.

6. Documentation and After-Sales Responsibility

Confirm which legal entity signs the contract, manufactures the product, holds the relevant certificates, and handles warranty claims.

For long-term cooperation, clear change control and corrective-action procedures can be more valuable than a slightly lower initial quotation.

The Top 10 Manufacturer Shortlist

1. Jiaxing Miluo Smart Home Co., Ltd.

A Candidate for Development-Led, Coordinated Bathroom Collections

Miluo's company profile traces its manufacturing history to 1999 and states that the Miluo brand was introduced in 2005. Located in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, the business highlights access to Shanghai and Ningbo ports.

Its catalog includes acrylic bathtubs alongside solid-surface, marble, and transparent-resin products, as well as basins, bathroom vanities, shower bases, and mirrors. This broader range makes Miluo relevant to buyers developing coordinated bathroom collections rather than purchasing a single isolated tub model.

The company identifies the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East among its markets. Its stated service approach emphasizes research and development, translating customer concepts into products, continued communication during development, and post-delivery feedback.

For smaller and growing brands, Miluo is worth evaluating where responsive design discussions and coordinated product development are priorities. Its potential value-for-money position should be tested through landed-cost comparisons and sample approval, rather than assumed from promotional language.

OEM/ODM discussion should cover acrylic model availability, tooling ownership, finish options, packaging, matching bathroom products, and the scope of technical support. The reviewed profile does not provide a model-specific acrylic-tub capacity, fixed MOQ, or independently verified current certificate scope.

2. Foshan Royalking Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd. — SSWW

A Candidate for Broader Bathroom Sourcing

SSWW identifies 1994 as its establishment year. Its official website describes two production bases, more than 1,000 employees, and over 150,000 square meters of facilities, with operations covering several bathroom-product categories.

The published range includes freestanding bathtubs, massage bathtubs, shower enclosures, ceramics, bathroom cabinets, and accessories. SSWW therefore merits consideration by importers seeking a wider bathroom assortment from an established manufacturing organization.

The company reports activity in both domestic and overseas markets, although the reviewed homepage does not provide a detailed destination-market breakdown.

For OEM/ODM procurement, establish whether the proposed cooperation concerns SSWW-branded distribution, private-label production, or exclusive product development. These arrangements should not be treated as interchangeable.

Its published factory footprint is a company-scale indicator—not verified annual production of freestanding acrylic soaking tubs. Buyers should request model-specific capacity, private-label MOQ, and relevant test documentation.

3. APPOLLO (China) Co., Ltd.

A Candidate for Suppliers with Leisure-Bathroom Development Experience

APPOLLO's official company profile states that the business was established in 1996 and specializes in the development, production, and sale of high-end leisure sanitary products.

Its website describes investment in acrylic-sheet manufacturing technology and presents a substantial bathtub range. Public supplier information also identifies freestanding bathtubs within its broader bathroom portfolio.

APPOLLO is a reasonable candidate for buyers comparing plain soaking products with a future expansion into massage or wellness bathing lines. However, buyers should obtain confirmation of the exact non-jetted acrylic soaking model proposed for their project.

The company describes domestic and international business activity, but a current market-by-market export breakdown was not established from the reviewed official profile.

OEM/ODM discussions should define available modifications, electrical versus non-electrical configurations, tooling responsibilities, and private-label rights. Specific soaking-tub capacity, MOQ, and certificate coverage require quotation-stage verification.

4. EAGO Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd.

A Candidate for Established Export-Oriented Bathing Products

Public company information dates EAGO's founding to 1996 and places its manufacturing operations in Foshan. Its product portfolio extends across bathtubs and other sanitary products.

Published product information documents acrylic freestanding bathing products, while industry supplier material identifies EAGO's freestanding acrylic tubs and presence in European and American markets.

EAGO is worth investigating for distributors seeking an established bathroom supplier with international product exposure. However, buyers should distinguish its plain soaking products from air-bubble or hydromassage models.

A quoted OEM/ODM program should specify whether customization covers finishes and branding, structural modifications, or dedicated molds. Confirm the contracting entity and any restrictions associated with existing branded products.

Large company or plant figures should not be interpreted as the available output of a particular freestanding soaking-tub line. Request capacity and compliance evidence for the selected SKU.

5. Foshan Korra Bath Ware Co., Ltd.

A Candidate for Structured Product Development

Korra's supplier profile states that the company was established in 1998. It also describes an engineering research and development center established in 2007, with functions covering industrial design, sample manufacture, product testing, and chemical-product laboratory work.

The company publishes freestanding acrylic bathtub products and describes international activity across North America, Europe, and Asia.

For buyers, the potentially valuable feature is its stated development infrastructure. This should be investigated through examples of completed projects, sample records, engineering drawings, and documented testing.

OEM/ODM discussions can focus on product geometry, hardware integration, finishes, and performance validation. Confirm which development activities are conducted internally and which are outsourced.

Korra's public listings include certification claims, but some reference older management-system editions. Those references do not establish current validity. Likewise, a published capacity for a particular massage bathtub should not be applied to freestanding soaking tubs.

6. Zhejiang Mesa Sanitary Co., Ltd.

A Candidate for Export-Oriented OEM/ODM Assortments

Mesa's acrylic freestanding-tub page states that the company was founded in 2005. It reports more than 30,000 square meters of factory space, over 200 workers, more than 20 research and development engineers, and annual output exceeding 250,000 sets.

That annual figure covers the broader bathroom business. It is not a verified acrylic soaking-tub-only capacity.

Mesa identifies export coverage spanning North America, Europe, South America, the Middle East, Africa, and other markets. Its public information describes OEM/ODM support and customizable sizes, shapes, colors, and configurations.

An important qualification point is production ownership. One Mesa publication refers to a "cooperative factory" holding management-system certifications. Buyers should establish which site manufactures the quoted tub, which entity controls quality, and whether any work is subcontracted.

Mesa publishes CE, cUPC, and management-system certification claims. Request the actual documentation and confirm its application to the selected model, rather than relying on a company-wide list.

7. Ningbo Waltmal Sanitary Ware

A Candidate for Buyers Comparing Several Bathtub Formats

Waltmal's official website describes manufacturing activity since 2005 and publishes freestanding acrylic models, including oval center-drain products. Its broader bathtub range includes alcove, drop-in, whirlpool, clawfoot, and walk-in designs.

This makes Waltmal relevant to importers building a multi-format bathtub assortment.

There is an important date distinction: a supplier-platform profile identifies the legal entity Ningbo Waltmal Sanitary Wares Technology Co., Ltd. as established in 2014, while the business describes manufacturing history beginning in 2005. Buyers should verify the exact entity appearing on their contract and certificates.

The reviewed official homepage does not provide a destination-market breakdown, model-specific capacity, or fixed MOQ.

For OEM/ODM sourcing, discuss existing acrylic molds, drain positions, dimensions, finishes, branding, and packaging. Obtain written confirmation of which changes are available without new tooling and which trigger a development project.

8. Foshan Shunde T&W Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd.

A Candidate for Private-Label Product Development

T&W states that it was established in 2003. It publishes acrylic freestanding bathtubs and presents a dedicated private-label and OEM/ODM service program.

Its product documentation describes customization involving dimensions, colors, logos, packaging, and optional massage configurations. The company positions its products for international distributors, developers, and hotel projects.

For procurement teams, T&W is particularly worth comparing where the project requires more than standard catalog selection. Its published customization program describes design and manufacturing support for both small and larger requirements.

T&W publishes cUPC, CE, and ISO 9001-related claims for relevant products. These remain subject to verification against the actual model, factory, and certificate holder.

Buyers should also clarify production location: its published contact address refers to the Gaoyao district of Zhaoqing, while company descriptions refer to Foshan. Confirm the manufacturing address before arranging an audit or assessing certificate coverage.

9. Hangzhou J-Spato Import & Export Co., Ltd.

A Candidate for Catalog-Based Bathroom Sourcing

J-Spato's official website describes a Hangzhou sanitary-ware company established in 2019, focused on massage bathtubs, steam shower rooms, and bathroom cabinets. Its published product pages also offer freestanding tubs.

A supplier catalog lists acrylic freestanding models with example MOQs of five sets. This is a product-listing indication—not a binding MOQ for all models, customization levels, or current orders.

Because the legal name includes "Import & Export," buyers should clarify the relationship between the commercial entity and the actual manufacturing site.

A current destination-market breakdown was not established from the reviewed official material. Ask for references relevant to your target market and product type.

OEM/ODM discussions should confirm mold access, customization limits, sample approval, component sourcing, and responsibility for defects. Factory identity and model-level documentation are especially important before committing to an exclusive collection.

10. Guangdong OVS Technology Co., Ltd. — WOMA

A Candidate for Acrylic Bathtub Portfolio Expansion

OVS/WOMA publishes acrylic freestanding, massage, walk-in, and drop-in bathtubs alongside bathroom furniture. Its supplier profile traces WOMA's business history to 1999, while company information identifies the OVS legal entity as established in 2004.

This distinction should be retained in buyer records rather than compressed into a single unqualified founding date.

WOMA describes sales to the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, and Africa. Its broad acrylic-bathtub range may be useful for buyers expanding from plain soaking tubs into other bathing formats.

Published product listings show five-set MOQs for several freestanding acrylic products. Customized colors, revised materials, or new molds may require different quantities.

Its public information includes certification claims referencing older management-system editions. Ask for current certificates and model-specific product records before relying on those claims.

Technical Buying Guide: What Makes an Acrylic Soaking Tub Reliable?

Specify Material Construction, Not Just the Word "Acrylic"

Purchasing documents should identify whether the product uses a full PMMA acrylic sheet or another disclosed construction, such as an acrylic-capped composite.

Do not assume that two white, glossy tubs have identical material structures. Request the sheet specification, supplier information, production bill of materials, and an approved cross-sectional sample where appropriate.

The material must also suit the forming process. Acrylic-sheet technical guidance explains that heating, forming, cooling, and shrinkage influence final geometry and dimensional accuracy.

For buyers, the practical consequence is straightforward: material approval and process control must be evaluated together.

Define Finished-Part Thickness

Starting-sheet thickness and finished-shell thickness are different specifications.

Thermoforming redistributes material, and deep-draw areas require attention to thickness distribution. Technical forming guidance describes measures such as pre-stretching and plug assistance to control thinning.

Ask the supplier to provide:

- Starting-sheet thickness and tolerance.

- Minimum finished thickness at agreed inspection points.

- Reinforcement construction.

- Support-frame and foot details.

- Performance results for the finished bathtub.

A statement such as "5 mm acrylic" should be clarified before it becomes part of the purchase contract.

Assess the Complete Structure

The shell, reinforcement, base support, leveling feet, and drain assembly work together.

A heavier tub is not automatically better, and a glossy finish does not establish load performance. Compare the approved construction with bottom-stability, chemical-resistance, and temperature-change test evidence appropriate to the product.

Treat Certification as Model-Specific Evidence

For European projects, EN 14516 is an important reference for domestic baths. Its conformity framework connects product characteristics and factory production control with the applicable construction-product requirements.

Buyers should confirm the relevant standard version, declaration, technical documentation, and regulatory pathway for their destination and shipping date.

RoHS is different. It concerns restricted substances in electrical and electronic equipment; it is not a universal environmental-quality certificate for a plain non-electrical soaking tub.

Similarly, ISO 9001 concerns a management system. It does not, by itself, prove that a particular bathtub model satisfies destination-market product requirements.

Freestanding Acrylic Soaking Tub Material Inspection

The Often-Missed Sourcing Trap: Thickness Without a Measurement Location

One easily overlooked procurement problem is approving "acrylic thickness" without defining where and when it is measured.

The quoted number might describe the flat sheet before forming. An inspection reading might describe the complete wall, including reinforcement. The buyer may assume both refer to the finished acrylic water-contact layer.

Those figures are not necessarily comparable.

Because forming affects thickness distribution, buyers should agree on named measurement locations and distinguish the acrylic layer from the complete structural laminate.

A practical prevention method is to:

1. Record the incoming sheet specification.

2. Approve a finished-shell thickness map.

3. Define critical points around the base, corners, and drain.

4. Separate acrylic thickness from reinforced-wall thickness.

5. Use the same method for sample and production checks.

This is more useful than negotiating a larger nominal thickness number without a shared definition.

Buyer's Guide: From Factory Verification to Shipment

Verify the Entity and Production Site

Request the business license, factory address, contracting entity, bank-beneficiary details, and explanation of any affiliated export company.

An export company is not inherently a problem. An unexplained mismatch between the supplier, manufacturer, certificate holder, and payee is a reason to investigate.

During an audit or live factory review, examine material storage, forming operations, reinforcement work, assembly, testing, and packaging. If the supplier uses a cooperative factory, establish contractual responsibility and access for inspection.

Use a Three-Stage Sample Process

A useful sampling sequence is:

1. Catalog sample to evaluate the baseline product.

2. Pre-production sample using the intended materials, drain, finish, branding, and packaging.

3. Random production verification to check that the order matches the approved specification.

Retain a signed reference sample and drawing. Record acceptance criteria for dimensions, color, surface defects, drainage, stability, and packaging.

Control Changes After Approval

Create a written list of changes that require buyer approval, including:

- Acrylic-sheet grade or supplier.

- Reinforcement system.

- Drain and overflow components.

- Structural supports.

- Finish and color.

- Packaging construction.

- Production site.

Without change control, a successful sample does not establish that later batches will remain equivalent.

Compare Landed Cost, Not Unit Price Alone

Request packed dimensions, gross weight, loading plans, Incoterms, inspection costs, destination charges, and spare-component provisions.

Separate the MOQ for a standard model from the minimum production quantity for a custom color or new mold. Tooling cost, tooling ownership, exclusivity, and storage responsibilities should appear explicitly in the development agreement.

Packaging also belongs in sample approval. Ask the supplier to demonstrate how the rim, drain area, and base are protected during handling and transport.

OEM Bathtub Development And Export Preparation

Select the Supplier That Fits Your Product and Operating Model

The right manufacturing partner depends on the project.

Large integrated suppliers deserve attention when a buyer needs a broad bathroom assortment. Specialist and customization-oriented businesses merit closer evaluation when design coordination, private-label development, or smaller product programs matter more.

Jiaxing Miluo Smart Home Co., Ltd. is a relevant candidate for buyers seeking customized bathtubs within a coordinated bathroom collection. Its published emphasis on development, customer communication, multiple product categories, and export service provides a basis for a qualification discussion—not a substitute for sample and document verification.

To begin a project with Miluo, send the intended market, preferred dimensions, acrylic construction requirements, drain configuration, finish, expected order volume, and packaging needs. Request a model-specific proposal covering sampling, customization, compliance documentation, production scheduling, and after-sales responsibilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How Can I Verify Whether a Factory's ISO Certificate Has Expired?

Obtain the complete certificate, including its number, certified entity, site address, scope, issuing body, and validity dates.

Search the certificate number or company name in IAF CertSearch where a record is available, and verify the result through the issuing certification body.

A certificate missing from one database is not, by itself, conclusive proof of fraud. Direct verification remains important because publication practices and database coverage can differ.

2. Can I Use the Factory's Existing cUPC Claim for My Private-Label Tub?

Do not assume so.

Ask for the actual product-listing record and written confirmation of the model, manufacturer, brand identification, and permitted variations. A badge on a supplier page is insufficient evidence for your specific private-label configuration.

Where a design, drain assembly, manufacturing location, or other relevant feature changes, obtain advice from the certification body before treating the existing claim as applicable. IAPMO provides plumbing-product testing and certification services.

3. How Can I Confirm That Production Uses the Same Material as the Sample?

Make the approved bill of materials contractually binding and prohibit substitutions without written authorization.

Combine incoming-material records with batch identification, production inspections, and agreed finished-part checks. If material identity is disputed, use an independent laboratory and a clearly documented sampling procedure.

Do not rely solely on appearance. Forming and reinforcement can make visually similar products materially different.

4. Why Is the MOQ Higher for My Custom Color Than for a Standard White Model?

Ask the supplier to identify the actual cost driver: sheet procurement, finish processing, setup time, packaging, or new tooling.

A public five-set listing may apply only to an existing standard model. J-Spato and OVS/WOMA publish such examples, but those figures do not establish a universal MOQ for customized production.

Request separate quotations for standard stock, modified existing designs, and exclusive new products.

5. What Should a Warranty Agreement Include Beyond "Ten Years"?

Define which components are covered, what counts as a manufacturing defect, installation requirements, exclusions, and the evidence needed to assess a claim.

Also agree on the remedy: spare parts, replacement units, credit, repair contribution, or another documented solution.

Specify responsibility for freight, duties, disposal, and any field-service costs. A headline warranty period without these details offers limited commercial certainty.
